About Our Story

Welcome to Khantha's Kitchen,

home for Indian traditional and exquisite preparation in Singapore.

It is founded by Srinivasan Vellaswamy, a seasoned entrepreneur. He has started his career in 1986. He belongs to Vellaswamy's family who have a history of serving people committedly to bring wide variety, high quality of Indian dishes to locals. Since many generations, they have been successful to satisfy customers with their strategy of using their own in-house prepared ingredients.

Our Cuisine

We specialize in Tandoori food – which is marinated meat of various kinds cooked to perfection in the Tandoor – the traditional charcoal prepared natural BBQ. The curries are generally medium on the spice scale, but can be spiced up for the lovers of the chilli. Each curry has its own distinct flavour (each different from the other), depending on the area of India where it comes from. We are a haven for vegetarians offering a large choice of popular vegetarian dishes – a selection one could never tire of. The range of Indian breads cooked in the Tandoor is extensive and each bread is a treat in itself.

We offer a rich and varied cuisine embracing dishes from northern to southern India. We also offer catering services to small and large events, weddings, graduations, corporate and holiday parties, and executive events.
